Zaid Modhi, born on the 1st of September, 1986, is a Jordanian musician. Being brought up in a family that appreciates arts, his parents pushed him into learning music. At the age of 9, being taught by Miss Maha Darwish, he started playing the piano, and had his first concert at the age of 12. When he was 14 he started learning Oud and since then he has merged western and classical music with eastern and oriental music. At the age of 18 he started composing songs and lyrics.

Zaid’s first musical hit was sung by the Jordanian singer Hani Mitwasi in 2006, which ranked as number 1 at the top-ten chart in Jordan for more than 8 weeks, and ever since he has been a well known music composers, lyricist, and arranger. However, his main job in the mean time is a physiotherapist as he had his bachelor’s degree from the University of Jordan, and in 2010 he Earned his Master’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK. As hard and difficult as it seems he is working in both domains right now and hoping to help people physically (by being a physiotherapist) and emotionally with his music.
